HMK® R766 Anti-Slip Treatment
For marble, limestone, travertine, and calcareous stones
 
Increases slip resistance.

HMK® R766 is a special ready-to-use product that increases slip resistance on marble, limestone, travertine, terrazzo and other calcareous stones. R766 creates microscopic pores in the surface that work on wet surfaces to restrict slipping and sliding. Before beginning the application test the product on a sample tile or in an inconspicuous place to evaluate its effectiveness and suitability.
 
Note: Improper application such as allowing the foam to develop and uneven application will require mechanical refinishing. The gloss and color of the surface will be altered with this treatment. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Acid sensitive surfaces, metals, plastics, glass etc… will be damaged by contact with R766.
Instructions: Protect adjacent surfaces and ensure the working area is well ventilated. If under-floor heating exists switch it off and allow the surface to cool. Clean the surface to be treated thoroughly using HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner or stripped with HMK® R154 Stripper/Stain Remover (see product specifications for details). Once the surface has dried to the touch apply R766 undiluted evenly and generously with a sponge or a wash mop. Do not allow foam to develop or R766 to dry until the procedure is completed (approx. 5-10 minutes). After the process is completed wash the surface thoroughly using R155 Intensive Cleaner -acid free- diluted 1:20 with clean water. Rinse the treated surface thoroughly with clear water at the end of the process. Repeat the treatment process if slip resistance needs to be further enhanced.
When using a wet vacuum we recommend that you add to the water HMK® Z702 Defoamer to regulate the amount of foam.
